Seel-Coat hot melt coatings cut losses from damage due to rust and handling
Seel-Coat 100% solid hot melt strippable protective coatings are thermoplastics formulated to fit a wide variety of protective coating needs. The ease of use and ability to be remelted and reused many times makes this a time and money saver.
Available in clear and other colours, these coatings not only protect, but are useful in product identification and inventory control. Numbers and information can easily be seen through the transparent coating. Seel-Coat protects items from rust and cushions items during handling, storage, and shipping.
Seel-Coat-315 This coating contains oil, it is transparent, golden in colour, has excellent pot life. Available as well in opaque colours of BLUE-RED-GREEN. Operating temperature is 350° F.
Seel-Coat-335 This is our best and most widely used coating, contains oil and is water clear. Part numbers and markings can easily be read through this coating. Available in CLEAR-BLUE-RED-GREEN, all are transparent. Operating temperature is 350° F.
Seel-Coat-430 A new coating, low odour, peels off better, sets-up very fast, lower operating temperature of 310° F which uses less energy. Available in CLEAR-BLUE-RED-GREEN all are transparent. Good colour retention.
Seel-Coat-480 Stop-off coating used in plating, capping oxygen tubing, sealing-off ends of electric cable. Oil free, chemical resistant, excellent masking against glass bead/aluminium oxide and other abrasive blasting. Can be used where no oil exudation can be tolerated. Meets the requirements of MIL-P-23242-B. This coating is transparent, and is easily trimmed. Operating temperature is 360° F.
Seel-Coat-630 This is a rubber like thermoplastic coating. Contains no oil and low odour. Ideal for small items that require coating but not long term rust protection. Available in CLEAR-BLUE-RED. Operating temperature is 290° F.
Seel-Coat-635 Is similar to the 630, but sets-up harder. Available in CLEAR-BLUE-RED. Operating temperature is 300° F.
Seel-Coat-640 Is a new coating which is similar to the 635 with the exception that it cools faster, is more durable, easier to remove and is less affected by warm weather. Available in clear only at this time.
Operating temperature is 300º F.
